Performing Arts

In Performing Arts, we show strength through studying Performing Arts knowledge and skills, through a mixture of performing, analysing and expression across the curriculum, developing students own sense of creativity and self-confidence.

In Performing Arts, we show pride through encouraging to celebrate their own work and achievements as well as that of others. Maritime merits are awarded for excellent verbal and written responses as well as One:One work and home learning.

In Performing Arts, we show unity through applying problem solving skills and teamwork which are fundamental to Performing Arts, through creative thinking, discussion, explaining and presenting ideas.  Students are always encouraged to use SHAPE when communicating with others and explaining concepts to each other.  Self and peer review are important to enable pupils to have an accurate grasp of where they are and how they need to improve through think, pair, share.
